Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, unless, it seems, if you're Magda Linette. This week, the Australian Open semifinalist found the funny side of an artist's caricature of her on a poster at the Poznań Open, an ATP Challenger event in Poland.

It's a rendering that portends to depict Linette's accomplishment Down Under, where she beat four seeded players to record her best-ever Grand Slam run this January. But it gives the 31-year-old exaggerated features—namely, a cartoonishly-big head and nose, coupled with a small body.

Nonetheless, Linette got the last laugh with a witty retort posted to Twitter.

"Not helping me in my search for a husband. Not helping," she quipped in response.

Linette's humorous response was all the more impressive when considering she's currently in a tough stretch of form. The world No. 20 hasn't won back-to-back matches since the Miami Open; lost in the first round of Roland Garros; and on grass, also suffered early exits at both Nottingham and Birmingham as the No. 3 seed at both events.

In Nottingham, she was upset in the second round by eventual finalist, Great Britain's Jodie Burrage, while she lost to China's Zhu Lin in the second round in Birmingham, 6-3, 6-0.

Next month, she'll hope to better her career-best finish at Wimbledon, which was a third-round showing in 2019 and 2021.
